So inspirational to visit Botany Downs Kindergarten in Auckland. Their philosophy was one of trusting the child. The children were challenged with glue guns with HOT glue. They were used with respect as the children know the consequences of their actions!
Great to see a very used wood working section with hammers, nails, screws, electric drills and saws. This was accompanied by hard hats, eye muffs and eye shields.
Children were truly engaged and making extraordinary works because they had educators who trusted and guided them.
